Power Pad Review: Premium Wireless Charger from Case-Mate

I'm always looking for the best wireless charger, now that my whole household has Qi-based iPhones. The Power Pad ($60) from Case-Mate could be a contender. First, I like that it has 7.5 watts for fast charging. It accommodates phones via the included angled stand in portrait or landscape or it can be used in flat mode. It has a nice rubberized non-slip surface.

The PowerPad is sold in white or black and while it uses USB for power, it has an integrated cable so it's always connected to the PowerPad. There is a riser piece to accommodate bigger devices, but be careful not to lose it.

Pros

  • 7.5 watts for fast charging
  • Portrait, Landscape, and flat options
  • Rubberized non-slip surface
  • Available in white or black

Cons

  • Riser piece could get lost
