Lux True Wireless: Tiny Bluetooth 5.0 Earbuds That Work for Everyone

When the folks at Ashley Chloe wanted to send me their LUX True Wireless Headphones ($89.99) I wasn't sure, as a human male, that I was the right audience. They market the earbuds for women; but while women will certainly appreciate the attention, I found them to be quite suitable for men, too! The box says "Female Fit," which suggests that they work with smaller ears and don't interfere with earrings (which Apple's AirPods could.) But men could appreciate this as well. After all, once you remove the earbuds from their pink box, and select from the larger ear tips (three sizes are included), they work fine for men who may indeed have larger ears.

First, these are remarkably small earbuds that hide away. They are only available in black, so they won't disappear altogether. I would have liked to see more color choices. Battery life is tricky when it comes to Bluetooth earbuds. A lot of earbud providers quote the usage time by including recharging from the battery case, so keep that in mind, A fully charged pair of LUX earbuds should last 3.5 hours, and you can add ten hours by recharging using the LUX battery case.

Pros

  • Remarkably small earbuds
  • Supports Bluetooth 5.0
  • Compact charging case
  • 3 ear tip sizes
  • All-day battery life, but depends on using case

Cons

  • Battery life based on recharging periodically
  • No color choices

Final Verdict

Don't be put off by the marketing; the LUX True Wireless Headphones from Ashley Chloe are a nice option for both men and women.
