How to Watch MLB & The World Series Online or on Apple TV (Without Cable)

Ready to watch MLB and the World Series online? We’ve got four different ways you can make that happen. If you’re watching the World Series on Apple TV, we’ll also cover options that will allow you to do so. It’s unlikely you’ll find a way to watch the World Series online for free (legally, at least), but there’s a few different subscriptions you can sign up for that will allow you to watch MLB and the World Series online and without cable. For cable subscribers, we’ll cover how you can watch the World Series on Apple TV with the Fox Sports Go app. But the rest of our options will be focused on watching MLB and the World Series online and on your devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Let’s go.

How to Watch MLB & The World Series Online or on Apple TV (Without Cable)

Sling TV

Sling TV is one of two options for live streaming MLB and the World Series online or on your Apple TV. Sling TV is an app that allows you to watch live TV without cable. This is also the most affordable option, since you can get the blue Sling package that includes Fox for only $25 a month. Unfortunately, there are some areas that don’t offer Fox; if you live in those areas, you’re out of luck. But for most people, it should be no problem.

Playstation Vue

Playstation Vue is quite similar to Sling TV, albeit more pricey. You can get the $40 a month plan to watch MLB and the World Series— and you don’t need a playstation to do so. Playstation Vue is supported on Apple TV (4th generation or later), Amazon Fire, Roku, Android TV, and online. The subscription may be more costly than Sling, but it includes a lot of popular and fantastic channels. If your household will watch those other channels, it may be worth the splurge.

How to Watch MLB & The World Series on Your Devices (For Cable Subscribers)

If you are a cable subscriber that wants to watch MLB and the World Series on your devices, check out the Fox Sports Go app. If you want an app with extras that focus on all things Baseball, it’s worth looking into the MLB.com At Bat app as well. Remember, both of these options require a cable subscription to work.
